Description:
The SMP interface is a 50 Ohm subminiature interface in the same scale as MMCX connectors but offers a higher frequency range of DC to 40 GHz. It is mainly used in miniaturized high frequency coaxial modules and is offered in a push-on mating style. The interface is an excellent choice for PC board to board interconnects. For these applications, use the Male connector on each of the PC boards and the Female-to-Female bullet adapter mounted in between to complete the connection.
This termination is rated to 18GHz.
